"Baking Artisan Bread..." is a wonderfully written, beautifully photographed book. The recipes are easy to follow, explicitly written and move from very easy to more challenging. Best of all (for me)it broke the "fear" barrier I had about using yeast and sourdough starters. I bake bread, foccacia and pizza regularly now and even try some of the more challenging recipes. You can't go wrong when your mistakes taste great. A must buy for any serious baker and written well enough to put a beginner at ease.
