An Act to alter for One Year, and until the End of the then next

Session of Parliament, the Duty on Wheat the Produce of the
British Possessions in North America.

[22d. June 1825.]

W HEREAS it is expedient to permit, for a Time to be limited, the Importation of Wheat the Produce of and imported from the British Possessions in North America, on the Payment of a certain luty ; be it therefore enactrd by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Com- Prohibitions on tbe mons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the importation of Wheat,

Americil, and all Du' c. 60 &c. suspended ties pajable on the Importation of such Wheat under an Act passed in for a limited Time. the Fifty fifth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty, intituled An Act to amend the Laws now in force for regulating the Importation of Corn ; and also, an Act passed in the Third Year of the Reign of His present Majesty, intituled An •ct 10 amend the Laws relating to ihe Importation of Corn; or any other Act or Acts in torce iminediately before the passing of this Act, shall be and are hereby suspended; and that for Ove Year from and alier the passing of this Act, and further until the End of the then next session of Parliament, any Wheat, the Produce of, and inported from the British Possessions in North America, shall and may be Imported
