It very intresting book with very simple story about life of a indian girl during World War (Hitler times). When India was uncontrol by British, eventhough on the page of world history India never took part in any World Wars. But still India play its role in war against Hitler. I love to read this book, because its very easy. You can complete the book in some hours.

This is an amazing book that takes place in the 1940's when India is being fought over by the Japanese and British. It is about a young girl who's father is a doctor..... but also hiding a secret. When her dad and herself were going back home from the train station, they see a protest march, and a tragedy occurs which changes their lives forever. This is a great book about family, history, and love. I recommend this book to everyone 12 and up!
