The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the train, the cause and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person as follows:

1872.

May 7. William Sanders; foot smashed in Binghamton yard, while making up train.

June 11. Adelbert Arnold, killed at Killawog, in the night, by freight train; don't know how it happened.

June 27. Edward Curtis; arm smashed while coupling cars at Homer.

September 23. Harvey Webster, attempted to cross a bridge ahead of passenger train No. 3, bound north, about two miles south of Homer. Engine struck him when about half way over, breaking one of his legs twice; lived about one hour and a half.
