TUESDAY, JULY 15, 1902. Prayer by Rev. Russell Cecil, D. D., of Second Presbyterian Church. The following proclamation of the Governor was read by the clerk: EXECUTIVE OFFICE, Whereas the schedule annexed to the Constitution ordained and established by the people of Virginia through their representatives in Convention assembled at Richmond, on the 6th day of June, 1902, prescribes that "The General Assembly, which convened on the first Wednesday in December, 1901, shall be called by the Governor to meet in session at the Capitol at 12 o'clock M. on Tuesday, the 15th day of July, 1902." Now, therefore, I, A. J. MONTAGUE, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the performance of the Constitutional requirement before mentioned, do hereby call both bouses of the General Assembly to meet in session at the Capitol, in the City of Richmond, on the day and hour aforesaid. All members of the General Assembly are required to take notice of this proclamation, and attend at the time and place above stated. Given under my hand and the seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia at the City of Richmond this, the 27th day of June, A. D. 1902, and in the one hundred and twenty-sixth year of the Commonwealth. RYAN, member from the county of Loudoun, and SPEAKER of the House of Delegates of Virginia, took and subscribed to the oath required by the Constitution before C. Lee Moore, Esq., a notary public. Jno. W. Williams, clerk of the House of Delegates and keeper of the Rolls of Virginia, took and subscribed to the oath required by the Constitution before C. Lee Moore, a notary public.
