AN ACT

Making an appropriation to the Chester County Hospital.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of fourteen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Chester County Hospital, situate in the borough of West Chester, Chester county, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three, for the purpose of maintenance.

Making an appropriation to the Coatesville Hospital.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be neces sary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Coatesville Hospital, adjoining the borough of Coatesville, Chester county, Pennsylvania, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thou

AN ACT

Making an appropriation to the Pittston Hospital Association.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of fif teen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Pittston Hospital Association, for the purpose of maintenance, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three; and the further sum of one thousand dollars, for improvements.

AN ACT

Directing the Commissioner of Forestry to erect buildings on the Mont Alto Reservation or to purchase land and buildings adjacent to the said reservation, wherein to provide instruction in forestry, to prepare forest wardens for the proper care of the State Forestry Reservation lands, and making an appropriation therefor.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the Commissioner of Forestry is hereby directed, under the advice of the State Forestry Reservation Commission, to purchase suitable buildings and land adjacent to the Mont Alto State Forestry Reservation or to erect buildings on said Reservation, at a cost not to exceed six thousand dollars, and to establish and provide therein and on said Reservation practical instruction in forestry, to prepare forest wardens for the proper care of the State Forestry Reservation lands; the said instruction not to cost a sum exceeding ten thousand dollars. for the two fiscal years ending June first, one thousand nine hundred and five; and the sum of sixteen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be nec

AN ACT

Making an appropriation to the Oil City Hospital.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Oil City Hospital, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three, for the following purposes, namely:

For the purpose of maintenance, the sum of fifteen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

For the purpose of repairs to the hospital buildings, and for the enlargement of said buildings, and the construction of a new operating-room and fitting up the same, the sum of ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and
Sailors' Home, at Erie, Pennsylvania.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of one hundred and ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home, at Erie, Pennsylvania, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three, for the purpose of maintenance of said home, at an annual rate not exceeding

two hundred and ten dollars per capita, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

Making an appropriation to the Lancaster General Hospital. Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of thirty thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Lancaster General Hospital, for Appropriation. the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three, for the following purposes, namely:

Making an appropriation to the Williamsport Hospital.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of thirty-five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifically appropriated to the Williamsport Hospital, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three, for the following purposes, namely:

For the purpose of maintenance, the sum of twentyfive thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

For the purpose of erecting new buildings, and mak ing necessary repairs, the sum of ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

Making an appropriation to the trustees of the University of
Pennsylvania.

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the sum of one hundred thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby specifi cally appropriated to the trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, for the two fiscal years beginning June first, one thousand nine hundred and three, for the general maintenance of the University, the construction of buildings, and the purchase of apparatus as the trustees may deem best for the interests of the University.
