THIS issue of the Year's Work contains, besides the annual chapters on Literature, History, and Archaeology, and the usual chapters on Philosophy and Religion, a chapter on Papyri and a chapter on Roman Britain.
It should be understood that the Year's Work does not profess to deal with works published later than the June of the year in which it appears.
I take this opportunity of thanking those publishers who have sent me copies of new classical books.
