Rev. xxii. 3

-5.

Eze. xliii. 7.

Eze. xxxvii. 24-28.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it: and his servants shall serve him:

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

And there shall be no night there: and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and

ever.

And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them.

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, Rev. xxi. 2, coming down from God, out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that Job. xix. 25, he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

And though, after my skin, worms destroy this

body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, John xiv. 1 believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, John xiv. 28 and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would

rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my

Father is greater than I.

And now I have told you before it come to pass, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will Jer. xxiii. 5, raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King

shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end; upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and Micah iv. 1- princes shall rule in judgment.

Acts i. 911.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven, as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like Compared manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Zech. xiv. 1.

Zech. xiv. 4.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the

mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley: and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in Zech. xiv. 9. that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

EVENTS EXPECTED TO TAKE PLACE AT THE
CLOSE OF THE MILLENNIUM.

(1) Satan, being loosed, stirs up the nations to rebellion, and makes his final attempt to overthrow the kingdom of Christ.

AND cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him Rev. xx. 3. up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive

the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little

season.

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan Rev. xx. 7shall be loosed out of his prison,

And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and

the beloved city; and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(2) Is defeated and cast into the lake of fire.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

(3) General resurrection and final judgment.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it: and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.

(4) New heavens and a new earth.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
