The dead Saints to be raised, and the living ones changed
at His coming in the clouds of heaven (as in Matt.
xxiv. 30: "And then shall appear the sign of the Son
of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in
the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory"): but
not
upon EARTH YET. This is the FIRST RESURRECTION.

Rev. xx. 4- AND I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

1 Thess. iv. 13-17.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with them a thousand years.

And when the thousand years have expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

But every man in his own order; Christ the first- 1 Cor. xv. 23. fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood 1 Cor. xv. 50 cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Job. xix. 23 Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were printed in a book!

John v. 24. -29.

That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

And though, after my skin, worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

So man lieth down, and riseth not; till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thy hands.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation : but is passed from death unto life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall Psalm xlix. feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave; for he shall receive me.

Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

For when he dieth, he shall carry nothing away; his glory shall not descend after him.

Though, while he lived, he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee when thou doest well to thyself. He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; Hosea xiii.

I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be

thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God; and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, Compared when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they rise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Personal coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, to judge the living: i.e., to earth, WITH his saints risen and changed, -as see below, JUDE 14, 15.

Psalm i. 3- AND he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Isaiah lxvi. 15-16.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
