The Private Secretary of the Governor being introduced, presented several communications, in writing, from His Excellency, the Governor, which were read as follows:

A motion was made by Mr. Stober,

That the rule which requires nominations made by the Governor to lie on the table five days, be dispensed with, and the Senate do now resolve itself into Executive Session, for the purpose of acting upon the foregoing nominations:

A motion was made by Mr. Stober,

That the Senate do advise and consent to the nomination of Julian L. Ardrews to be alderman in and for the First ward, city of Bradford, county of McKean to serve until the first Monday in May, 1905, vice Thomas Osborne, deceased.
