The preamble and resolution was twice read, considered and agreed to, viz: Whereas, Since the convening of the Legislature for the present session, death has removed from the scene of his labors, Hon. Ward Ramon Bliss, of Chester, who for nine consecutive sessions had been chosen to represent the county of Delaware in the House of Representatives, and Whereas, Mr. Bliss has during his long public career rendered conspicuously useful service to the people of the State, and has been a faithful and valuable legislator, therefor be it Resolved, That out of respect to the memory of the late Honorable Ward R. Bliss the Senate do now adjourn. Whereupon, The President adjourned the Senate until tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. TUESDAY, January 17, 1905. The President in the chair.
