John A. Smith had thirteen thousand two hundred and forty-five votes (13,245). David E. Gilchrist had one thousand nine hundred and eighty votes (1,980). J. S. Grant had one vote (1). A. A. And that of the whole number of votes cast at said election for Auditor General, William P. Snyder had five hundred and seventeen thousand nine hundred and sixty-three votes (517,963.) Arthur G.
