STATZ OHHO
YTOSVINU

Printed in Great Britain by J. W. Arrowsmith Ltd., II Quay Street, Bristol

[ocr errors][merged small]

THIS issue of the Year's Work contains, besides the annual chapters on Literature, History and Archaeology, and the usual chapters on Philosophy and Religion, a chapter on Numismatics and a chapter on Comparative Philology.

It should be understood that the Year's Work does not profess to deal with works published later than the June of the year in which it appears.

I take this opportunity of thanking the Oxford and Cambridge University Presses, Messrs. Methuen & Co., the American Philological Association, the Catholic University of America, and the Fundació Bernat Metge for sending me copies of new classical publications. The last-named reached me too late for notice in this issue.
