Mr. Baily presented a petition from sundry inhabitants of Lancaster, Chester and York counties, praying that commissioners may be appointed to review a road from West Chester to M'Call's ferry; and Said petition was read and referred to the committee to whom were referred on the 5th January two similar petitions. Mr. Lowrie presented two petitions from sundry inhabitants of the borough of Pittsburg and its vicinity, praying that in case a law is passed to authorize the erection of a bridge over the Monongahela river at Pittsburg, the choice of the scite may be left to the stockholders or the commissioners appointed for the purpose; and Said petitions were read and laid on the table. Mr. Baily presented a petition from sundry inhabitants of Lancaster county, praying for a revisior of the law for the suppression of vice and immorality, so far as relates to the breach of the Lords day; Which was read and laid on the table.
