The clerk of the House of Representatives being introduced, informed, that that house have concurred in the amendments by Senate, to the bill, entitled

An act authorizing the appointment of an additional auctioneer within the city and liberties of Philadelphia,' except the following, viz.

Sect. 1. lines 5 and 6, strike out the words who shall be exclusively authorized.' Line 10, strike out all that follows the wordprints' and insert in place thereof these words by other auctioneers legally appointed,' in which they have non-concurred.. He further informed,

That the House of Representatives have concurred in the amendments by Senate, to the bill, entitled

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to enable the Governor to incorporate a company for making an artificial road beginning at the intersection of the Egypt road with the ridge turnpike road two miles above Norristown in the county of Montgomery, from thence to Pawling's ford bridge over the river Schuylkill.'

THURSDAY, January 18, 1816.

Mr. Power presented a petition from sundry inhabitants of Beaver and Mercer counties, praying that a law may be passed to authorize the Governor to appoint commissioners to view and lay out a state road beginning at the west end of Brighton bridge" in the county of Beaver, thence to Mount Jackson, and thence to intersect the Poland centre road in the first range of townships in the state of Ohio; and

Said petition was read and referred to Mr. Power, Mr. Shannon and Mr. McFarland.

Mr. Morgan from the committee to whom was referred on the 8th inst. the petition of the president of the Schuylkill Navigation Company, on leave given, reported a bill, entitled

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to authorize the Governor to incorporate a company to make a lock navigation in the river Schuylkill,' which was read the first time.

The bill, entitled

An act erecting part of Mifflin county into a seperate county to be called Juniata, was read the third time, and

On the question,

Shall this bill pass ?
