The Good FatherAfter assassins are hired to kidnap the Cortés' seven-year-old daughter, Belinda, from a slum in Medellín, Colombia, the girl is sold in Spain to a wealthy, politically powerful couple unable to have children. In an effort to find Belinda and prove she's his daughter, Gabriel Cortés travels to Madrid where he encounters all kinds of legal difficulties and ends up being arrested and locked up in the dungeon of the Central Police Station. After hearing Gabriel's story and deciding to help him find his daughter, an officer from that police station stumbles into a political and criminal plot taking them on an adventure through darkest Madrid. |
