About the author (2019)

Nicolle Merrill specializes in emerging careers and professional reinvention. As a liberal arts graduate, she’s pursued an adventurous nontraditional career. A four-time careerchanger, Nicolle’s professional experience has spanned industries and roles. Nicolle was the Associate Director of Career Services at Yale School of Management, where she coached hundreds of professionals through career changes. She currently freelances as a conversation designer and analyst at an artificial intelligence startup. Nicolle’s human-centered approach to career changes and relentless curiosity about emerging career trends has led to speaking engagements across the US, as well as in Canada and Ireland.
