This is an excellent and amazingly succinct treament of the subject. I never have encountered a textbook on musical harmony that is so trustworthy and thorough, in so few pages, and so devoid of confusion from excessive detail, as this book. Much recommended, ieven if it is rather old by now. Morris Hutchins Ruger was a proficient but totally unremarkable composer, but this theoretical writing attests genius of another kind!
