N. S. Kardashev
Gordon and Breach Science Publishers, 1992 - Science - 379 pages
The book examines the degree of mobility of earnings over the course of time. Do people keep the same place or is there a great deal of fluidity? The book reviews the literature which has recently become available on earnings, boththeoretical and empirical. Also considered is the measurement of mobility, which the book goes on to asses in the US, UK, France, Canada, Germany and other countries. Exaamining the results of all the findings, the main conclusions are drawn, and are followed by scope for future research.
