A very important bookUser Review - Christianbook.com
This book is an excellent source for the history of the definition of the Trinity. And it explains ecclesiology in terms of the Trinity. The author is Greek Orthodox, and his work is widely read by major Catholic theologians (and hierarchs) as well as by Orthodox ones.
fire-breathed theologyUser Review - Christianbook.com
This is not a study for the feint-hearted. But this theological work, I have found to be a stirring for my own pursuit of a deeper relationship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Perhaps it is hitting me at just the right time and place but I would have to call it fire-breathed theology. Communion in the broader sense, is the beating heart of Christianity. His theme is Christian community, relationship with the triune God, and fellowship in the blood bought sacrifice all Christians share. The warning is that divisiveness is a infection which wars against God's greater purpose.
