I found that there are a lot of references to good information and good books, but the book overall fails to deliver the actual tools needed to implement lean. It touches on information that you could google, but rarely provides details that you could follow to find any true gains. I also saw no implementation inside a union environment in his examples. It appeared to be mostly experience from Mexico which really is not very useful in a typical union facility.
Really I wonder why this book is not recommended for Students in Supply Chain & Operations Management -University of Liverpool- Online students- Reaaly I found the lecture notes seems mostly derived from it. I hope to be recommended at lleast as optional book.
