About the author (2006)

Anne Dublin is a teacher-librarian in Toronto. Her writing has won many honours and awards, including the National Chapter of Canada IODE Violet Downey Book Award, the Canadian Jewish Book Award and the American Library Association Amelia Bloomer Project Recommended Feminist Read for Youth designation. Dublin's work has also been nominated for the Golden Oak Award and the Norma Fleck Award. She has previously written historical fiction, short stories and curriculum studies. This is her third biography. An experienced speaker, she gives wonderful presentations.
