The Hunger Games, Volume 1

Good book but the skipped pages SUCK!!!

As I was reading this book I kept getting distracted by the sucking sound in the background. Then I realize that it was the story that was sucking. A story about kids getting killed is allways the most bone headed thing to wright about. Especially fiction. So ya da book sucked.
The movie was even worse with Jennifer Lawrence as cat. Katniss in the book is like 5 foot six but, Jennifer is like what, six foot ten? They should of started out by getting Tania Raymonde as Katniss and a camera man with steady hands. Oh ya editing was a problem along with the screen play. other than that the book and the movie sucked.
3 1/2 sucks.  

I was reluctant to read this book because I thought it would be violent. However, once started I found I couldn't put it down. The violence was treated sensitively. It was a great read, and I can't wait to start volume 2.
