As an IT professional and lover of suspense thrillers I really enjoyed this book. Looking at how the Daemon evolved from one state to another had real world implications. People that complain about the ending obviously either wrote the review before the second installment (Freedom), does not know about the second installment or just does not get it. 

Incredible. Hacker friendly, sci fi savvy, and philosophically pertinent to today's exponentially evolving society. I feel this is a call to techno-arms by the author. Highly recommend.

Amazing new age technology story. A thriller from start to finish

The author must be a geek - great book. Can't wait to read the sequel.

Excellent thriller, although there was a bit of obvious leaving things open for the sequel towards the end. I particularly enjoyed the IT aspects of this current-science fiction.
