About the author (1960)

Ella E. Clark " is also the author of Indian Legends of the Pacific Northwest (Berkeley, 1958) and Indian Legends of Canada (Toronto, 1960). She holds degrees from Northwestern University and is professor emeritus of English in Washington State University.
