The award-winning author of Dupe offers a mystery filled with "spare prose, lively dialogue, and a beautiful sense of time and place" (Sara Paretsky), featuring street-smart, tart-tongued, English P.I. Anna Lee. On the trail of some stolen sweater designs, Anna winds up in the Florida Keys, where a mob-style execution and a drugged teenaged runaway tell her she's in for more than haute couture.

Review: Backhand (Anna Lee Mystery #6)User Review - Meredith Galman - Goodreads
Takes Anna out of foggy London into steamy Florida and faces her with charming villains, stalwart local PIs, and the ultimate in unreliable clients. By the end of this one, Anna seems ready to burn her bridges personally and professionally. An ambiguous end to an entertaining series. Read full review
