Review: Vicars of Christ: The Dark Side of the Papacy

User Review  - Tony - Goodreads

really one of the best books I've read about the papacy, and that's including ER Chamberlain's "The Bad Popes" and Gary Willis's "Papal Sin." The most interesting stuff in the book is probably anecdotal, and spurious, but it's incredibly entertaining, and enlightening, nonetheless. Read full review
