D Suresh
I believe The book is a classic piece for all those who want to know and practise the beautiful concepts of BUDDHISM, for awakening oneself, explained in simple and attractive way. It would
be more interesting and easy to understand and appreciate the contents if one read "OLD PATH WHITE CLOUDS" an excellent book by the same author which takes you effortlessly along the footsteps of the greatest teacher "GAUTAMA BUDDHA". Mr. Thich Nhat Hanh is one of the excellent authors I have come across and very much admire and appreciate the style of simple but powerful presentation that engross and enlighten the reader even while dealing with complex concepts.

This is an extraordinary book. It started to change me without even knowing it. I didn't know that I didn't know... Thank you Universe, for letting me witness this "NOW"... This Moment... What a gift. Peace...

The book TAKES U TO NIRVANA (EMANCIPATION) when it is read with mindfulness !!!
Also agree to previus reviewer Mr. Suresh's sugestion for pre-knowledge in the book " OLD PATH WHITE CLOUD" by
the same author is adviced for full proceeding in the path of NIRVANA. The later book , no doubt shall take any body DIRECTLY to Budha . Thus these" TWO BOOKS i.e OLD Path WHITE CLOUD " and " The path of EMANCIPATION " once read mindfully , will sufficient for one's life time knowledge and shall not not require any other worldly things like wealth/ knowledge /religion/ to enjoy the ETERNAL BLISS/HAPPINESS (SAT-CHIT-ANANDA) every moment i.e ENLIGTENMENT !!! May these two books atleast touch each and everybody for complete GLOBAL ENLIGHTENMENT and ETERNAL HAPPINESS.
