About the author (2002)

Father Daniel G. Groody has ministered to Mexican immigrants since working with the Mexican community in South Bend, Indiana as a young priest. He is now Associate Director of the Institute of Latino Studies at the University of Notre Dame. He lives in South Bend, Indiana.
