About the author (1980)

New Age author Marilyn Ferguson was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on April 5, 1938. In 1968, she moved to Los Angeles where she studied psychology and gathered information about hypnosis, meditation and extrasensory perception. Her books include The Brain Revolution (1973), The Aquarian Conspiracy (1980), and Aquarius Now (2005). She also founded the New Age journal Brain/Mind Bulletin, which she published for 21 years until 1996. She died of a heart attack on October 19, 2008 at the age of 70.
