User Review - Flag as inappropriateSlavery happening in my country while I'm alive? An industry created around a great fruit that we call a vegetable only to dumb it down for our fast food conglomerates? GMO Science or the more old fashion experimental cross breeding to achieve more disease resistance, better taste, or the ability to bounce off the blacktop? Refrigeration decrements flavor? Purple? Heart health? I knew I liked good salsa, but who knew so much history, potential, drama, and tragedy surround the tomato. Mr. Estabrook tells a very intriguing story here. A great read about a vegetable.
