About the author (2001)

Jane Simmons is best known for her award- winning and bestselling Daisy, "the little duck with big feet" whose books have sold over 2 million copies worldwide. She has lived in England, Australia, France, Uganda, Zambia, Malta and Kuwait in houses, flats, lorries, vans and tents. She has just completed a successful sailing trip across the Channel and at the moment is travelling through France in a converted fishing boat. She studied illustration at Anglia Polytechnic University.
